Civic Chorale begins new season October 25: Death and Life
At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25 in St. John’s Episcopal Church in Johnson City, The Civic Chorale will present Death and Life, a program of music concerning these universal realities of all creatures. The church is located at 500 North Roan Street.
While there is no admission charge for the concert, donations are gratefully accepted at the door, with a $10 suggested donation.
Founded in 1973 as the Johnson City Civic Chorale, the Civic Chorale is a regional non-profit auditioned group of volunteer singers under the direction of David Hendricksen, and with Lisa and David Runner as accompanists.
"We believe that the act of singing together is an affirmation of those dimensions of humanity which transcend the merely material. Thus we dedicate ourselves to strive for excellence in repertoire and choral sound."
