Secular and sacred music from the rich choral traditions of Scandinavia and the Baltic Countries. Composers include Egil Hovland,Hildor Lundvik,Wilhelm Stenhammer,Knut Nystedt, Veljo Tormis, Arvo Part and others.

 

                             Messiah Sing

Sunday, December 12, 3:00 p.m.  First Presbyterian Church, Johnson City 

 

Everybody in the region is invited to bring their score and join in singing this masterful oratorio.  No audience today; we’ll all be the singers!  Not only will it be fun, but it will benefit others:  proceeds are directed to Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Civic Chorale joins  Symphony of the Mountains and Voices of the Mountains under the baton of Cornelia Kodkani-Laemmli in presenting this towering masterpiece. Contact Symphony of the Mountains for ticket information.
