Mrs. Sarah E. Malone, Music Director
Sarah Malone is a passionate musician and educator with deep roots in choral music. Though her love for music began early, she discovered her enthusiasm for choral singing during her college years. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Clearwater Christian College, she embarked on a career as a music educator and church choir director in South Florida. During her time there, she led music programs in a small private school and directed worship at a church, guiding musicians of all ages to develop their musical talents.
Sarah continued her musical journey by obtaining a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from Florida Atlantic University under the direction of Dr. Patricia Fleitas. This achievement led to her help establish Espressivo, a semi-professional choral ensemble in South Florida. In 2012, she became the Assistant Director of the Treasure Coast Community Singers, where she gained invaluable experience working with community choirs.
In 2014, Sarah relocated to Johnson City, Tennessee, where she became a soprano in The Civic Chorale and Cantemus Women's Choir. After a six-year hiatus from conducting, she returned to the choral scene in 2022, taking on the role of assistant conductor with Cantemus Women's Choir. Throughout her career, Sarah has been committed to inspiring others through the beauty and unity of choral music.
